Need deeper verification?

Syntax checking catches formatting errors, but Sales.co performs full SMTP verification to confirm the mailbox actually exists — catching 10x more invalid addresses.

How This Tool Works

This email syntax checker validates addresses against the RFC 5321/5322 email specification. It checks for: valid local part characters, proper @ symbol usage, valid domain formatting, common typo detection for popular providers, role-based address identification, and disposable email domain detection.

Syntax checking is the first layer of email verification. It catches obvious formatting errors but cannot confirm whether the mailbox actually exists on the mail server. For complete verification, you need SMTP validation which connects to the recipient's mail server and confirms the mailbox is active.

Common errors caught: missing @ symbol, double dots in local part, spaces in address, missing domain, invalid TLD, and typos in popular domains like gmial.com or outlok.com.
